Denny's - Calgary

If you are going to Denny's, I highly recommend trying their saji and harri dishes - their service is top-notch. Big thumbs up to them.

We were eventually seated by a TV and politely requested to have golf on instead of a game show, as there was a major championship happening. Despite there being no sound, we were told that it was not possible without any explanation. The server was friendly enough, but we couldn't understand why such a simple request was denied when we were the only ones watching the TV. The food was okay and came out quickly, but the unpleasant treatment by the hostess definitely put a damper on our dining experience.

I had a bad experience at this restaurant during my evening visit. I ordered delivery during a promotion where there was supposed to be no charge for delivery, but I was still charged. On another occasion, I was turned away because I wasn't wearing a mask, which was due to my neurological disorder. I submitted a complaint through Denny's website, but have not received a response.

It's been years since my husband and I have been to this Denny's location or to a Denny's period. Let me tell you about our amazing waitress Assimina ! When both my husband and I order a American slam Assimina even took a extra step...asking if we wanted to altar it . For appetizers we did order cheese sticks, she wasn't sure if they had any left but reassured us if there was she would add it on to the bill. She even came back after putting the meal in to tell us we were getting it. Hubby got a side Caesar salad and she alter it it so we wouldn't pay as much! Assimina was was friendly and kept up with both my husband and I coffee Highly recommend seating in her section if she's working when you visit. Food was hot and fast so was the coffee. Great job!!

We had a wonderful breakfast, with fantastic service . Our server Monika was amazing Highly recommend this restaurant.
