Contribuiți la feedbackLast week, I visited Cheung's Kitchen and was very happy to have stopped by. The food portions were very abundant and the meal tasty. I took the Dinner for one menu with two meat portions and rice. Give it a try and you will soon find that it it in your top five locations to have a good meal with excellent portions at a reasonable price.
Great food! Huge portions of very good Chinese food. It definitely worth a try. The chicken with sweet corn soup is great and they make great palace style chicken... I like chicken ;
Great heaping portions, both in the dinner for one and the individuals items. Dinner for one was very well priced for the portions, had a couple options but didint include a side or a soup. Very quick, tasty, and a little different from other places.
Tasty dishes some overcooked though. For mother 's day, we decided to try on Cheung 's Kitchen (due to a family member 's illness, we did take out). All the food was packaged nicely in the styrofoam clams, and they gave us a box to cart all the food home.<br/ <br/ I 'm not sure if it was a special, but they had a deal featuring 6 dishes for around $95.<br/ <br/ crab meat/fish maw soup. The fish maw was still 'crunchy ', but the soup itself was nice and thick and very well seasoned.<br/ <br/ baby shanghai bok choy with shrimp. I felt the bok choy was overcooked, I 'm not much of a fan of soft veggies, but the shrimp was cooked well (plump yet moist) and good flavouring throughout.<br/ <br/ lobster with cream sauce and fried noodles. The lobster was a tad overcooked, but the cream sauce was to die for, you could taste the heavy cream which was cooked to a thick 'congealed ' consistency (weird as it seems, I prefer it that way). The fried noodles were kept separate from the sauce, which is a good thing the noodles were crispy and crunchy with a smattering of quickly stir fried green onions on top, heavenly !<br/ <br/ cold marinated white chicken, I really enjoyed this dish, the chicken was cooked perfectly, but my favourite oil/ginger dipping sauce was wayyyyyyyy too salty, which is a shame as I don 't like ginger at all, but I do like the oil/ginger dipping sauce for the white chicken.<br/ <br/ sauteed beef w/onions. I believe this dish would have been served on a hot plate, but since it was take out that is not possible. I enjoyed the sauce for this dish, the beef was super tender and tasty, loads of stir fried onions throughout.<br/ <br/ thinly sliced deep fried sweet and sour pork. The pork was severely overcooked since each piece was sliced almost paper thin, most of the pieces were dried. However, I do like the fact that the pieces were cut bite size, and the batter they used was crunchy (even during the trip home it still retained its crunchiness). The sweet and sour sauce, I felt, elevated this dish to new heights. The sauce was more on the sweet side, but oh so good. It didn 't feel like they provided enough sauce, but on the other hand it also didn 't make the pork pieces soggy either. Despite being overcooked, I really liked this dish.<br/ <br/ I really liked the food from Cheung 's, despite some dishes being overcooked, Cheung 's provided huge portions that were well seasoned and scrumptious.
Very good service. Toilets need to be cleaned better. Sweet and sour pork chops are yellow instead of red but very good. Friendly staff.
