Buon Giorno Ristorante Italiano

Buon Giorno has been around for many many years----and there is a couple of GOOD reasons why..as many other restaurants disappear from the Calgary

What a great experience!__This has been my parent's favourite restaurant for a long time so we all decided to have a big family dinner here.

I had last been to Buon Giorno about 7 years ago, and nothing seems to have changed since then.

Came here for my birthday for an Italian meal. The food was lovely and we enjoyed our experience. Our waiter was very helpful and pleasant and made us comfortable. Outside can get noisy on the road so we sat inside and it had a very warm romantic feel to the place. Old yet authentic Italian dinning. The only "off" putting thing with our experience was the hostess. She was extremely miserable and not very friendly. I noticed a few people in the restaurant getting upset with her because of how she handled herself around customers. However other then that the food was lovely and we really enjoyed our experience!! Would recommend!

This is a nice casual restaurant with excellent Italian food. The calamari is always done to perfection and is served with a nice flavorful tomato sauce, one of our many favorites. Nothing fancy, just tasty!
