Bow Bulgogi House - Calgary

I've passed by a thousand times and finally decided to take my kids for a go. As a novice to Korean food I appreciate the uniqueness of the flavors and spice level with plenty of things for the kids to eat as well. Delicious food and friendly service. Looking forward to our next visit!

We decided to try Bow Bulgogi on a whim, and were VERY pleasantly surprised. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner (John) and had a genuine and pleasant conversation.The service was awesome, and we tried everything John recommended.This is definitely a hole in the wall Korean spot, and would definitely recommend it to others!

To call this a disappointing attempt at Korean cuisine would be an understatement. I don’t write reviews, but respectfully how is this even considered Korean food. The Korean pancake is just a heap of batter slapped onto an oiled frying pan with no fillings, the kimbap is LITERALLY 95% rice and 5% filling (I actually laughed as I’ve never seen anything like it before), the bibimbap is low with the fillings as well and the sauce tasted like it was doused with sugar. It also took them 35-40 mins to get that food out?? Had customers come in and order AFTER us and our food came out after theirs. Truly would not recommend this place. Server and service was kind though, just the food was ridiculous.한국 여러분들 여기는 진짜 아니에요

I ordered a lunch special for the 2nd time, significantly less rice came with it compared to the last time. I asked for more rice stating there was very little rice there, they said they need to charge me for an extra rice. I was hungry so I paid for it. If a lunch special cannot satisfy a small lady's stomach, it is a problem.

Food was great. Service was extremely friendly. Price and serving sizes were awesome. Nothing to complain about here just high quality Korean food.
