Some of the best bbq I have had outside of the state of Texas! Got the two meat with brisket and pulled porkWife got the ribs.

Had the Gut Buster sandwich, had brisket, pulled pork and sausage. Very filling and three sauces to try. Staff was great, wait wasn't too long.

My family and I (complete with our elementary school-age children) happened to be staying at one of the hotels on Banff Trail and asked the staff there for ideas for a meal. One suggestion was this one and we were not disappointed. We arrived at about 8pm and were seated with very little wait. Our server was very pleasant and efficient, our meal arrived quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and homely, the place was bustling in a rather efficient way. The food itself was plentiful and really, really really nice. We all loved the corn bread, our steaks, our fish our chicken, etc. I especially enjoyed my onion rings which were not oily or stringy like they can sometimes be. We were offered a selection of accopanying sauces from the sane-looking tomato ketchup to a rather insanely hot sauce. Simply splendid! We noted that the menu also had notes on which dishes were gluten-free (which I think would be useful for those living with Coelic Disease - which means the cannot eat certain foods such as wheat flour, etc,) and there were a lot of delicious, gluten-free food which even those who have no such restrictions will enjoy. A cutely quirky little bit here is that we were served our drinks in what looked like jam jars. Loved it!Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely! Would I go there again? Hell yes!
