Every day we go to the Balkan deli for lunch, we are impressed with the quality of the European food, the selection, and the massive amounts that are served for the small daily lunch price. Brano is a true Red Seal chef and it shows in his cooking. Genuine Pork and Chicken Shnitzel, Sausage, Cabbage Rolls, Perogies, Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Meatloaf. You name it, it is all home cooked and fresh.Great Value!!

I used to frequent the Balkan Deli for years when I worked across the street.

After being closed for the majority of the past three months due to the pandemic, Balkan Deli and its welcoming host and Chef Sondra are back in business. While not the full menu, their famous carvings are available daily. I dined there twice last week and tried the Hungarian goulash for the first time on Friday, which was also incredibly delicious!

Whenever I go there I feel like I am at home having a nice homemade, delicious, tasty meal. Just like our grandmas mothers cooks from scratch that is how these meals are cooked with love and passion. All thumbs up, no wonder that the food is the best in the city. It is so tasty! You will not be disappointed. Such love and hard work are put into these, it is a must!
