Love this place! Fantastic ingredients and excellent, friendly service. I'd love this place to be a chain I see everywhere :)

Visited Around the Bend for lunch this week for the first time. Incase you're having trouble finding it, it's in Deer Run, next to the Co-op, close to the CIBC. The sandwiches are made-to-order fresh, and everything is cooked in house. No deli-meat...yay! The roast beef is unbelievable. I had the Steak Frite and my husband had the South West. I think my sandwich was better, but I don't know for sure...even though the sandwiches are big, neither of us was sharing! It's on the way to Fish Creek Park

All the other reviewers have nailed it.....best sandwich shop in town. With homemade pretzel buns, sauces, potato crisps.....so good! A hidden gem, nothing flashy. The owner and his employees are very friendly and aim to please. Prices are very reasonable. Will be back :)

Super fresh and tasty. Lots of choices but I seem to stick to the Northern Twist. Good deal for the price as the sandwiches are really filling.

In Deer Valley mall to the far right of Co-op as you face it. Well worth searching out. Pretzels and pretzel bread are delicious. The ingredients fresh and meat cooked by the owners (i.e not processed.) The food is delicious, prices very fair, portions are huge and the service friendly, helpful and attentive. Bright surroundings with table and bar style seating if you want to eat in rather than takeaway. This place knocks the socks off every other fast food place in the area. I'll be back and back again.
