Great food and, music just as good. Good fun and sometimes even an old fashion square dance with "Ole Tyme Fiddling. Give it a whirl.....

Update: The Music Kitchen has permanently closed. Best food of its type in the area, and there are a lot of places serving home style food around there. The fried chicken takes 25 minutes to cook. Just walk in the door and order it first thing. It's worth the wait- better than all the other places. Chatted up the chef- he takes obvious pride in his work. Most items are from scratch and the specials are great. We'll be back on our next trip to beautiful Caledonia.

The first time we went the food was great! We went again tonight and I hate to say it but the food was terrible! Cold Mac N Cheese, cold potatoes, 1 slice of roast beef that was tough and half charred but somehow still managed to be cold. The only thing that was served hot was the roll and surprisingly was pretty good compared to the rest of the meal. It definately was not worth the $30 we spent. Im highly disappointed and not sure I will be back due to the how the staff responded when we told them how much we hated our meal. They were not in the least bit polite, did not seem to care that they had served us cold food, all the could talk about was hurrying up and getting off work. I get that they wanted to leave but they could have atleast offered to take something off of our bill given the fact that we did NOT send the plates back to be remade. We understood that we went shortly before closing time, but that is still no excuse to serve cold food and then be rude to paying customers. Very displeased.
