Haven't been in here since it was a bbq restaurant but I've been excited to try it. Sadly it was a terrible experience. They were short staffed, which I completely empathize with, and we expected to have to wait a while for food. My husband and I both ordered chicken and dumplings, our little ones had chili and a side of mashed potatoes. All the sides except the Mac n cheese on my husband's plate were cold. The stuffing was basically stone cold, mashed potatoes and fries were lukewarm. I took one bite of my chicken and dumplings and almost threw up I smelled it and it smelled rotten. I smelled my husband's and it smelled slightly better, but still a bit off. I went to talk to them and told them mine was rotten. To their credit, they went to check and then pulled it from the menu. My concern is how they even served rotten food in the first place. It must have been made with bad chicken, and the smell should have been a dead giveaway to the cook! They did take the chicken and dumplings off the bill, but we still had to pay for the cold sides. Overall, it wasn't at all worth the $30 we paid (even after the chix&dumplings was taken off) and I have completely lost my appetite now. I could not recommend this place at all. I looked around as we left and noticed that almost everyone had left large amounts of their food. Again, I understand being short staffed, and we waited patiently knowing that. But if you can't serve hot food that tastes good, maybe pare down the menu until you have more staff available. Do fewer things better, and maybe this cafe will succeed. Wish I could give lower than one star. Food was cold and over salted and items missing from order. Also charged more for using debit card but wasn’t informed before ordering. Will not go back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

I do not recommend. Tried to eat here but couldn’t eat my cold food. Was then charged more than menu cost at checkout. Poor customer service and they only have excuses for the paying customers when confronted. Also are good at running off people. Do not go here. Very poor dining experience long wait to be waited on 30 minutes another 25 before we hit our food when we got it the orders were not right the food was cold and the waitress was rude. We were at this same restaurant about a year and half ago food was good service was good I don't know what happened and we weren't the only ones who received bad service thus day.
