Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant during Buzzfest last year. It is very small and quite crowded with goodies, but in a good way! They offer delicious food, handmade crafts, clothing, and ice cream that is definitely worth a stop on your way through.
The Terra Cotta Country Store is a favorite weekend destination for me and my mother. Located next to a beautiful house in the small town of Terra Cotta, north of Georgetown, Ontario, this charming store offers a wide variety of treasures. From homemade pastries and delicious coffee and ice cream, to candles, paintings, jewelry, and unique clothing items, scarves, hats, and purses, there is something for everyone. If you're looking for a special gift for a loved one, this is the perfect place to find it. The welcoming owners, Judy, Bob, and their two daughters, make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. In September, they host Buzzfest, a gathering of local artisans showcasing handmade sculptures, paintings, jewelry, jams, jellies, spices, and more. With so much to offer, the Terra Cotta Country Store is definitely worth a visit. Drive up to the picturesque town of Terra Cotta and treat yourself to a delightful shopping experience – you won't be disappointed.
This unique establishment is not your typical general store. It is a combination of a take-out café and boutique, both of which prioritize environmental friendliness. Open only on weekends from spring through fall, the café offers a variety of ice cream flavors for children, but the real standout items are the exotic teas and freshly baked goods. The teas, sourced from a local supplier who blends them, surpass those from high-end tea chains according to my family's opinion. Although we did not sample the coffee, the baked goods are diverse and delicious. The family-owned business is known for their warm and welcoming personalities. They use easily biodegradable cups, making them more eco-friendly than many other establishments. In their boutique, you can find unique items like cork purses made from recycled materials from the wine industry. Overall, it's a great place to stop by while hiking in the area.
Visited the store during Buzzfest last year. Very small, and quite crowed with things, but they are good things! Yummy foodstuffs, hand-made crafts
Everyone in the are should come on down and enjoy some tea lattes, cookies, cinnamon buns, pies and ice cream! This place is the best in town. They sell trinkets of all kinds, including clothes, scarfs and jewelry. A MUST if you are in town. Do not miss out on the fresh desserts and the warm, friendly and welcoming environment! The owners are wonderful and they treat every guest like they are right at home with a warm and kind heart. Beautiful area!
