El Rincon De Las Tortugas - Calderitas

We had excellent margaritas and lunch here after visiting the local ruins. The staff was friendly. A little down, but nice atmosphere. You can swim in the bay. Nice boat served with chips.

We went for this place because there were good reviews and wanted to check it. The restaurant is right on the beach, but the beach is nothing special. We were 4 adults and 1 baby. We had pasta with shrimps, shrimps in a sauce with rice, shrimp rice with a kind of curry taste and octopus from the grill. Pasta and shrimp in sauce were very good, the rice was good. But the octopus was really good. We paid about 830 Pesos for 4 dishes and 4 beer top of the app. 120 pesos. The service was friendly and fast. All in all, it was one of the best meals I had so far in Mexico. If I compare it with Slovenian or European restaurants, it would be a 3 or 4, but for Mexico it is a 5.

This restaurant is amazing just a short drive from Chetumal about 40 Pesos by taxi or 7 Pesos by Collectivo . Great friendly service beautiful views especially from the upper level. The menu has a variety of seafood and fishing all well prepared. Our waiter had the honesty to tell me that the fillet was bred by fish. Nice ambience with people who play Rancheras and sing customers. Very recommended.

We got lost in Chetumal due to no cell signal and came upon this place that was packed with people. What a great find! The food was fantastic. Fresh and light flavors, attentive service and a wonderful view made for a wonderful experience. My mom had octopus and shrimp wrapped in a filet and lightly fried. It was to die for. I got a saffron scented seafood rice. So tasty

A beautiful place to eat fresh seafood only 10 minutes north of Chetumal with a beautiful view of the beach. Nice staff. 40 Pesos or a taxi from Chetumal any direction.
