Been going for years and it is my kid 's favourite place, so please take the comments as constructive criticism and not just moaning. Service was very slow, even though we were, for a while, the only people in there. Also the mezes were disappointing this time... Lots of dips but nothing to dip into it with. When I asked for extra bread (had to ask twice) 4 breadstick size pieces were brought out, between 5 of us! And there were no desserts; we were told it was baclava only which we subsequently ordered. Then we were told there was none left. It felt like a place in terminal decline last night... or that it needs a sweary Scottish chef to come in and point out the obvious! Really hope that it is not about to be shuttered and it was just an off day. It 's been a high street fixture for years and usually really good. Ordered takeaway off their website, very disappointed when it was over £4 more than the prices on the website, very disappointed when we got home, the food was cold, the over priced lamb Kebab had no Pitta bread, the pizza was just ok Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Visited on Tues 26/09/23 Beautiful tasty food, nice relaxed atmosphere. Service impeccable. Lovely young waitress working very hard, never pushy but there when we were ready to order food and more drinks needed.
