Barleybox Cafe Diner - Calderdale

Oh, a great old fashioned cafe, terrific home made food, very very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly. I had shepherd's pie, chips and peas, gravy, under £4. Delicious, we will definitely return here.

This restaurant is perfect for a casual and friendly lunch with family or children. The service is warm and cheerful, and the quality of ingredients is decent. The prices are affordable and won't leave you broke.

What a lovely find. We only went in because it was raining. I've been past so many times, but its much nicer inside than it looks. And the food is great despite the suspiciously cheap prices. And very friendly staff. My children both really enjoyed their enormous Yorkshire puddings. And an all-day breakfast for me, at prices from about 10 years ago. My only suggestion is a bit better lighting so that it doesn't look as dingy from the outside, it might attract more people. I'll actually annoyed at myself for only discovering it now after so many years.

Called in for a very welcome and cracking cup of tea and a coffee. Toasted teacakes are amazing as are the homemade tray bakes. Can't recommend this cafe enough and the prices are amazing. Good food, good cuppa. what more do you want.

The breakfast was a great deal, including cafetiere coffee for only £1.50. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, making for a delicious full English breakfast.
