Jolly Jack - Calangute

This Shack at Calangute Beach is a great place to go if you are looking at spending some peaceful time overlooking the beach. I have visited it multiple times on multiple goa trips and it really gives me the Goa feels.<br/ <br/ The Good: The location of the shack gives great visibility of the beach. It is pretty peaceful during the day and a nice place to chill. The Prawns Chilly, Fish Fingers are yum.<br/ <br/ The Bad: Expect the service to be a little slow and clumsy.<br/ <br/ Must Try: Prawn Starters, Fish Fingers, Juices

The best part about this shack is the owner, Derick. A great human being and very helpful in terms of anything and everything. They have also started a guest house which is again very close to the beach and is very reasonable. The food at the shack is awesome! Authentic goan food : The music he plays suits the atmosphere and also there is a pool table.

A small shack located right outside the Paradise Resort Beach gate, this is a very decent place. It is a bit far off from the Calangute main beach, so it isn't very crowded. A nice place to relax with a pint in hand while watching the sunset! <br/ <br/ The first thing we tried here was the french fries and the Chicken chilly. The fries were good and the chicken was nice and tender, but oily! For breakfast, I tried the cheese omelette and the cheese, tomato and onion omelette. The cheese omelette was ok but the the other one was good. Had the orange juice as well and it was perfect! <br/ <br/ The service was good with friendly staff. You can sit outside on the beach and they will arrange the table/stool for you. Overall a good experience!

A cute little shack where a lot of foreigners are attracted to , and what's not to love about this place ? <br/ <br/ This is to the left of Alexana beach shack and they prepare lovely food here. It's like all the other shacks , great to chill here by the day just looking at the beach and spending time with yourself and eat a bit here and there . That's exactly what we did and it was very relaxing and loved it. <br/ <br/ To start with , I never expected things like sandwiches to be great and a wow when I had a bite of it . It really tasted better than it looked.loved it.<br/ <br/ Their prawn dish was amazing ! All shacks make really good prawns . We had to specify that we wanted it spicy and a bit fried . They love to customize things for you at shacks.<br/ <br/ We also ordered lemon chicken and we expected that to be a dry item but unfortunately it was a gravy and had no clue about it. He didn't mention about it as well but it was good nevertheless. <br/ <br/ I don't why but none of the places at goa prepared good fish. Nowhere.
