Casandre - Calangute

Went out to sample some authentic Goan cuisine and walked into Casandre. Its a small house turned into a cozy restaurant which served one of the best xacuti and vindaloos i have ever eaten.<br/ <br/ The fabled vindaloo was so spicy that I, who for the record have a very high threshold for spice, was left in tears! Sadly, they didn’t have Bibinca so we had ice cream and matka kulfi for dessert.<br/ <br/ Brilliant food and very cozy.<br/ <br/ Best,<br/ The Wandering Epicurean

Absolutely wonderful experience. Went there last evening and had the most lovely food made with pure love. It was my friends birthday and we had a quick bur happy evening .

Absolutely wonderful place. The food was great and service was quite fast. Had chicken kadhai and paneer tikka masala. A must try in Calangute.

Food is awesome....we ordered steak peri peri which i loved so much...it is too good... except this, we tried navaratan kurma, aloo paratha,lassa paratha which are also good...and we also enjoyed the drink..

The first lunch we had in Goa! Casandré!! It is located just next to Calangute beach! We ordered a fish platter, chicken caferal pork roast. With Country fries and some beer to sum it up.Pork Roast was the show stopper as it was smoking hot and tasty. Peaceful ambience and friendly staff! Overall a goood place to hog.
