Erewhon - Calabasas

I love organic food and come to this Erewhon at least 3 times a week. The food is amazing! But I only noticed that some of the new cashiers who hired them are not really nice. You can feel uncomfortable and not welcome (e.g. Rachel). I encourage a new training curricula for their new attitude to improve customer service. Thank you.

I stopped in for a coffee—a Flat White—and a slice of Hawaiian pizza, and both were fantastic. The customer service was consistently excellent. The coffee was delicious, with great flavor and the perfect temperature. The pizza was outstanding, and the crust was the best part. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for a quick meal.

Frisée is not easy to find, but here it is. Can Erewhon brown it more to get into your green?! I feel like I am on a field trip every time I visit, the staff are always so warm and the cooked/heated food selection is plentiful enough to stop any vegan! I had the coconut lentil soup and I have to go back before I get closer to get more! You get what you pay here: quality freshness.

Our favorite place to go and eat. There is not too much to buy, maybe some fresh bread or fruit, but for lunch. The salmon is... delicious; I totally recommend it. And because of the location is almost every day sunny and you can eat outside on their terrace.

THE DRIED MANGO IN A JAR is a must-try—don't hesitate, just get it and ask questions later! And remember to return your jar for a $3 refund! It's absolutely fantastic; nothing else comes close. The hot bar is also really tasty. While I enjoy their specialty items, I find their prices for regular groceries to be on the high side. For instance, they sell the same organic bananas as other stores, but at a significantly higher price.
