Ahwak Salon De The - Cairo

Very cozy place, good food, service and very friendly staff. thanks for a pleasant time!

Had a tea and cafe au lait, the drinks were good, the service was excellent and I liked the decorations and the antiques, only arround 4 tables in the non smoking area

Ahawak is a very cool place to meet friends and work. I think it was one of Zamalek old apts that was transformed into a Resturant and kept its original furniture, structure, lighting chandeliers and coziness. So it kinda attract older crowed and young professionals. It has different sections with more quite and less smoky and the outdoor area that will be nice for fresh air lovers and winter day seatings. The food is not great otherwise I could live give it 5 stars but the staff is super friendly and helpful. Shisha is also served there. It’s is right behind Marriot hotel and close enough to 26th of July street.

The place is cozy and Oriental but it lacks ventilation And the food was not that tasty and it is expensive. I do not recommend it
