However, when my t-bone steak arrived, ordered medium rare, it was cooked well done to medium. I was disappointed by how tough it was. The baked potato was undercooked and a little hard. I don't think I will return based on the price alone, as I expected better quality. The service was great, so I can't fault the servers, but the chef did not meet expectations.
During our final night in Egypt, we dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic time celebrating our trip. The view of the Nile from the restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious, with everyone at the table enjoying their meals, which included steak, salmon, shrimp, chicken, and salads/soups. We also had two reasonably priced bottles of wine from the list. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with our waiter Adel and the staff.
Meat was very undercooked, which took away from the experience. The service was amazing and the views are fantastic. Not worth the price tag however.
The service at Red's is excellent. The salmon appetizer, not the lox, and scallops were good, but the lentil bed lacked garnish. The lamb chops were delicious, but the seafood grill was overcooked. The presentation of the Crepes Suzanne was great, but the crepes themselves were tough. The view is unbeatable, and the piano music adds to the ambiance.
Can’t believe this is a Michelin star restaurant!!!!!! Awful!!!!!!!!
