Yanni's Greek Taverna - Cairns

Great service, excellent food. I really enjoyed the experience and tasted some different food that I had not eaten before.

For me being a Vegetarian it was very good....maybe be sure to book ahead and go on a week night if you don't like a lot of noise. Great feeling of a Greek Taverna and better then any other Greek Restaurant I have been to yet in Cairns Region!

Good, but not spectacular, Greek food. Try the sardines and the chicken livers-particularly good. Not great atmosphere, but a pleasant night all round.

4 of us had dinner at Yanni's on a Saturday night so it was very busy. The service was still good and the food was also to a good standard. Maybe it's because I lived in Cyprus for about 5 years that I am a bit picky when it comes to Greek food, but I thought it was a little overpriced for what you got.

Recently had a share platter with three friends. Great sample of Greek food. Good service. Not huge servings, but still enough to eat. Probably not the best Greek food I have eaten in Cairns - just my viewpoint, but that's not saying there was anything wrong with the food here. A nice meal and worth a try if you are nearby.
