Ali Babbas Kebabs - Cairns

When a vegetarian asks for falafel kebab and chips with normal salt NO CHICKEN SALT please listen! You’ve ruined my meal on more than one occasion by making this very simple mistake.

Food was not fresh, very expensive for a kebab shop. salads must be from a week ago.i am not recommending to anyone .

Walked in to an empty place. Employee was out the front having a cigarette. Came in and he didn’t wash his hands. No uniform to distinguish that he worked there. No gloves or hairnet, sad to say Hungry Jacks has better health standards. Nothing else open except the Night Owl so ordered a chicken kebab and was given leftover wraps it took 3 different prices to make 1 kebab. Asked for no tomato as I’m allergic and they only had 1 pair of tongs to use between the meat and salad toppings. Huge cross contamination issue. Kebab was dry and was like eating shredded cardboard with sandpaper garnish needless to say I didn’t finish it and left it for any courageous curlews who dared eat it. Price was over what you’d pay elsewhere for quality. Wouldn’t recommend no matter how drunk and hungry you are.

Was there last night for a late night Kebab fix and can’t say I got it. Pretty cheap on the amount of meat (especially for the price! $13.50) and left still feeling hungry. Extremely disappointed after reading previous reviews

This place had the best chicken kebab I have ever had. Lots of flavour and fresh fresh fresh! I was served quickly and staff were friendly. I highly recommend this place.
