Contribuiți la feedbackFun little fusion place mix traditional Sardinian ingredients and Japanese techniques. The beef tar with beet, potato chips and cream fraiche was excellent as the squid ink risotto with crudo shrimps. The veggie bao with tempura inside was shockingly good. Also great recommendation on a bottle of white wine with some skin contact during fermentation, very funny. The dessert wasn't really my thing, but that's okay, there's Gelato on the street.
This place was really fantastic. we came for the interesting fusion of Sardinian and Japanese foods, and it was not disappointed! we had the tasting menu that I recommend 7 courses. this included mackerel buo beans, pasta, pork, soft boiled egg, swordfish ceviche and courgette with dried thunfish. everything was excellent! the service was also great, our waiter went the extra mile and was very knowledge and friendly. we are so glad that we have gone, I would really recommend to anyone who is looking for something fantastic and other in cagliari!
Riccardo (owner and cook of Osteria kobuta) is a hospitable person who can entertain his guests with complete explanations of his recipes and decisions about the presented kitchen. In Cagliari this type of experience is unique. I especially enjoyed his reinterpretation of typical Sardinian dishes. Average price for this type of food. I'll visit him again on my next holiday in this beautiful island.
Local cuisine that is a fusion of Japanese and Sardinian culture. the chef originally came from sardinia and spent 10 to 15 years in japan, learned there all the skills and dishes that he then returned to sardinia, took with him all his learned skills to open his own restaurant and successfully cultivate a very versatile selection of delicious dishes. I went twice, ordered a series of cooking specialties and all were very nice. in any case recommend and recommend booking a reservation early as it tends to fill quickly. the pictures are what I ordered about the two nights.
This wonderful surprise surrounded by the touristy Cagliari marina serves up haute cuisine that would be at home in the finest restaurants of Paris, New York or Tokyo. Who even knew Japanese-Sardinian fusion was a thing, but are we ever glad we stopped in here! Exquisite flavors and balanced dishes with a very casual ambience. The ouvo e ouva (sous vide egg topped with decadent fish egg mousse and lentils) and the smoked veal with mashed potatoes were particularly special. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique twist on sardinian cuisine.
