Manow Bisteccheria - Cagliari

Manow is a cute little restaurant less than 5 minutes walk from T-hotel. They have a bistro side and a restaurant side, but I only ate at the restaurant. Inside it is super cozy with maybe 10 tables and very cute decor. The menu has about 12 options per course that are fish/meat/or veg. I had the mussel soup and the spaghetti with clams. While I waited there were excellent green olives and bread to nibble on. The mussel soup €8 was quite possibly the most delicious dish I have ever eaten! It had lots of mussels 10-15 and the soup was thick with small chunks of tomato and it was spiced with just the right amount of pepper. I scraped the bowl clean and I wish I could have ordered two! The spaghetti vongole €10 was not mind blowing at the soup but still delicious! The pasta was fresh made and was like thick spaghetti it reminded me of Japanese udon and there were lots of clams though 4-5 of mine were empty : . I still had a little room left after those 2 dishes so I ordered the chocolate souffle €4 for dessert. This was really good! I have occasionally had a better one this is one of my favorite desserts but for the price I was definitely happy. It did say on the menu that it would come with gelato but came with whipped cream instead, but the whipped cream was fine. All in all I paid less than €30 for an excellent 3 course meal and a glass of wine! with prompt and friendly service. I highly recommend this place!

A delightful place with great food and attentive staff. If you want to get away for the tourists head here or if you are staying nearby definitely visit this place.
