Contribuiți la feedbackStaff are very friendly at this slightly remote gelataria and are very happy to offer samples and describe the sometimes wacky flavours. Don 't be put off by the lack of lurid colours or great mountains of whipped gelato covered in garish sprinkles; this is how proper gelato should look: covered and understated. Nowhere else on Sardinia did we find so-called artisanal gelato that looked remotely like like I Fenu 's, so rare is real gelato. Upon our return at the end of our holiday, we were heart-broken that they had just run out of gorgonzola flavour but I had a fantastic 'gazpacho ' that almost compensated me.
We visited I Fenu twice while in Cagliari and would have gone back again if we’d stayed longer in the city. Not only are the gelati just excellent, tasting truly of what they are supposed to, and not too sweet. But also, the gelateria offers the kinds of flavours you just don’t see elsewhere. I tried watermelon with chilli, smoked Sardinian cream with caramelised pears, mango and ricotta with honey and almonds. Only mango is a flavour I’ve seen before. Prices are excellent, service is great. Really a fantastic place.
We stopped by a quick gelato and were very pleased. The nocciola and pistachio were amazing. I highly recommend it :
Great ice cream and great puff. not so many gorges to choose
A special ice cream, I could taste the goto to the mango cultivated in sardegna to villa san pietro, a true leccornia. the owner very kind and affable explained to me the dynamics of supplying to have such a good and fresh product. - Super-conscious.
