Ainsworth's Fish Chips - Caernarfon

Best fish and chips in the area hands down.. fantastic fresh fish in crispy batter... sounds obvious but so many chippies fail at this first hurdle.. not this one!!

The cleanest fish and chips shop I have ever been into, I was impressed just looking through the window- it looked like an Apple store Ran by a lovely team of women who made conservation as they cooked your order right in front of you! We had a member of the group with a dairy allergy and the lady cooking couldn’t be more accommodating! She went into great detail about the different batter she would use and if it was okay to cook it in the same pan etc. Won’t bother trying any other fish and chip shop now, this one is too good

Checked the reviews before visiting here on a mini break as there are several chippies to choose from. Everything was freshly cooked to order and tasted great. It's take away only but that suited us. Great staff too. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant fish and chips. All freshly cooked. We had Haddock, chips and mushy peas on 30/04/2022, and we cannot recommend highly enough.

First class fish and chips. You have to wait for them to freshly cook the fish which is exactly what I want. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious.
