Le Bistrot - Caen

After decades of resistance burgers now marches in France. as everywhere is a good burger hard to find. as a native North American, whose father ran a burger-joint, I can say that at the end of the day, it makes a good job that scratches my Burger-Itch.

We stopped here because we liked the displayed menu. we were not disappointed. we enjoyed cocktails, while our dinner for my wife was prepared the chicken Caesar salad and a novel approach for a burger for me. the burger came with a round piece crispy. ugly brown up and down, instead of a burger. not something you pick up, but fork tender! while we waited for our food, we admired a piece of art on the wall behind us. our host tried to explain before he went into the bar and entered into a translation program. he quickly returned to provide details about the local artist and his work. we have appreciated his efforts!

Midi en semaine : Service correct, sans longue attente ; frites chaudes ; par contre, les quantités sont petites alors que le prix est à la hauteur d'un plat pour adulte ; je déconseille la galette tex mex qui se résume à une petite galette sarrasin garnie de steak haché et de cheddar sans aucune saveur mexicaine ; le moelleux au chocolat est bon mais la part est bien petite pour un prix "taille normale" : déception

Restaurant top et sympa ; personnel cool au niveau du service. La salade césar est tip top avec sa sauce. Cadre sympa et avec sa terrasse en plus c'est top faut dire. Bon appétit à tous.

Déjeuner en terrasse au soleil. .service agréable. .pour un petit plat pas cher...en formule avec café et dessert...sympathique.
