Contribuiți la feedbackIn this restaurant there is a happy atmosphere. the personal made us feel immediately and offered a glass of the house chardonnay while we looked at the menu. a breton seafood tapas....amazing! salted lamb from the bay of saint michel with maische. cafe gourmand beautiful lunch...down with gigondas 2013 and a few malz whisky from the bretagne.
While my mother was subjected to caen tests in the sick house, we stayed with a 75-minute break at lunch time, so we went to the next brasserie for lunch. parking was difficult and mama must be out immediately because mobility problems. so. we drove further towards the center of caen and halfway after a residential street saw this pretty smart looking restaurant/café. we went in directly, without going to go on a trip or to search menus, just to discover a packed, modern restaurant with a beautiful traditional woodable and very friendly waitress. we sat right away, although I would book in future as we took the last table at 12.15. while we waited for the menu, our neighbours ' starter and my first impression was that looks good, but oops, I think that could be expensive. when the menu arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see that plat du jour was 11 euro and Entrée was plated 15, plat dessert was 15 and all 3 courses were 20 euro. we all had the entrée, the modern presentation of rillettes de pintade (guinea fowl paté served on a finger of toast, a type of teiglose quiche with beat blue cheese and a small plate of abage blanc (cream cheese with various chopped fresh vegetables and oil dressing, all served on a sloppy with really delicious! the main thing of my mother was a bark patty served on spicy cousins who looked a little dry and confirmed it. I had ordered pasta and when it arrived, I was surprised to see that there was no sauce. it looked very pretty, but I didn't have much hope. wrong! it was absolutely bursting with taste and there was a lot of oil dressing to give it enough moisturity. there were strips of lasagne pasta served with parma ham, saphir and brazed kumquats and a lot of fresh crumbles. very unusual and very good. my father had sapphire, squealing and garnel in a soaking so fantastic that he was wiping the bowl clean with his broth (a French habit he hates! Unfortunately, the time was pressing, and we had to go back to the hospital, so 't had time for a dessert and coffee, which is my only reason, this report did not have an excellent rating. I have to come back to a more cozy dinner in the near future and try out all the courses. a great little sound. By the way, they also conduct a day cooking classes which I will examine and report at a later time.
I've eaten a couple of lunches. the cook is from the bretagne and keeps the menu simple, but well executed. They typically start with a plate of three miniature stars, a selection of main course and finish with a plate of three miniature desserts. Modern...French cuisine well made with a beautiful ambiente, friendly service and cheap trips. the restaurant is located near the university campus and is visited by academics – a community that is long on intellectual and short on finance, so their support is a good sign. if this was in the city center, it would be much more popular with tourists, but then it would not change a doubt and will be catering for the pimpadvisors like all the other lauf der mühlenbetriebe.
A friendly welcome and full of humor, a delicious meal, the gibus is a place to go to discover, rediscover, without moderation. The surprise menu is extra. a discovery at each dish, a reinvented, fine and tasted kitchen, there is only to be worn. The senses are delighted: the dishes are beautiful and very well presented, the flavors are highlighted, the textures are pleasant...In a few words: I recommend the eyes closed.

Unbelievable! Salt lamb of the bay of Saint michel accompanied by its purée. wonderful gourmet coffee with gigondas 2013 and whiskey of bretagne malt.
