Lakewoods Resort Golf - Cable

Had our wedding in September. Most staff was good but had quite a few guests complain about rude wait staff in the restaurant. The bar and restaurant were nice but the hotel rooms were old and a few guests moved after they discovered mold In theirrooms. Had a bad experience with the wedding planning staff after our initial contact retired abruptly. There were a fewsituations that were handlers great but over all I can?t recommend this venue for your events.

We had a big group with many rooms. The rooms haven 't been updated in many years. Although it looked clean, there was an old smell. In one room there were wrappers under the beds, one room had dirty carpet, and another the air conditioning didn 'twork. Breakfast each day was excellent. Although more staff was needed in the restaurant, the young server with the long hairpulled back was kind, sweet, great with an elderly man with special needs, and did a great job with our large group.

The hotel room was clean, but I was surprised there was no microwave, which is something I'm used to having in hotel rooms. Fortunately, my sister, who was on a special diet, stayed with us, and the front desk lady kindly microwaved her food for her. She even gave her some Tylenol when she had a headache and helped open my kids' root beer bottles. It's clear that the staff genuinely enjoy their jobs and go out of their way to help guests. I also noticed there were no outlets near the beds; however, they provided extension cords so my sister could use her CPAP machine for sleeping. They really know how to manage it all! I was very impressed with the resort and we had a wonderful time. This was our second visit, and we would love to come back again.

This restaurant is wonderful! It features a beautiful dining room and offers a fantastic view of the lake. The cozy fireplace adds to the ambiance, and the staff are incredibly welcoming.

This is an excellent venue! I attended a friend's wedding here, and I was initially concerned that, being a golf resort, there wouldn't be much to do. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a volleyball court, several docks with access to the lake for fishing or swimming, a pool, a hot tub, and even a small arcade. Plus, there's a lovely bar where you can unwind in the evening. Overall, it was a great experience!
