Best marina on DHL! They have hundreds of boat slips available for annual lease and or temporary storage while you visit the lake. Sunset offers all the accommodations and amenities you could ask for. If you stay on the water, they offer several non-ethanol fuel options to keep your marine engine running as it should for about $1 more than nearby gas stations. The staff at the marina is very friendly and helpful in anything you need. The restaurant is seasonal and is very good. I reviewed it previously if you search for Pier 42 restaurant .

We ate breakfast and lunch here on a Sunday at the lake. Food is overpriced and breakfast took 30 minutes and we were the only table. It came out ice cold. For lunch we called in a to go order from the lake. Costed $25 for a cheeseburger with fries and a grilled cheese with fries. Picked up order and they forgot both orders of fries. By the time they fixed the order we had cold sandwiches and hot fries. Spent over $50 for food that was cold and not very tasty. I suggest eating before you arrive and taking snacks

Three guys having lunch at the Marina: 2 catfish sandwiches where the catfish was dry and all batter and no fish. 1 burger was over cooked and extremely dry. Draft beers tasted old and what? $5 a glass? Missing Chef Zoom. Loved trying up the boat and having lunch prepared by a great chef. Now it's overpriced and definitely not worth it. Get a Subway sandwich on the way to the lake!

Sunset brings back those perfect summer vacations. As far as I can remember going to Dale Hollow was a ride of passage for a great summer. We have been to a lot of lakes as well as houseboats over the years, Sunset was where the best ice cream was at. We love that they have the carp and catfish where the docks are with fish food. We would beg my parents to make sure we got fish food. Later our friends rented a houseboat from them and could not say how amazing it was. Very clean and well-kept, with lots of great options and things included on board. We have gone to places like Powell and first, they get you with the price and then there are no marries that are close by to help with the gas situation. That makes it much harder to enjoy the time, instead your more worried about if you're going to run out. Dale Hollow has great marinas and Sunset is the best one. I cannot wait for my kids here and keep the legacy going.
