New China Buffet And Sushi - Byram

This is a great spot for Chinese cuisine. The service is excellent. I've been here a few times, and I recommend not going right before closing, like with any buffet. My best experience was during lunch, as the food was plentiful and fresh. They have coconut macaroons that are always a favorite, and the self-service is also impressive. Overall, it's definitely a great place to dine.

It was a fantastic experience! We arrived at the dinner buffet fairly early, between 5 and 6 on a Wednesday. The food was served hot and fresh, which was wonderful to see! Although it was a smaller buffet, it featured most of the typical Chinese dishes. The freshly roasted frog legs were particularly delicious! My only minor issue was that I prepared a plate of fruit and a fried donut for my daughter to keep her busy while we ate. When I sat down, the waitress asked how old she was. I replied that she would be turning 3 next month, and then she just walked away, which felt a bit odd. My daughter, being a picky eater, didn't touch any of the food but instead played with her utensils. When we got the bill, I noticed a $5 charge for the buffet for a child aged 2-3! We didn’t raise a complaint since I did make her a plate, but it was the first time I've encountered a fee for a child that age.
