Great food and service! Very friendly as we walked in a half hour before closing. Located a bit away from Taft but it was well worth it.

Really excellent food! The chef is one of the kindest people I have met. The only shame is that this is so far away from Southern California. Would come here at least three times a week!! Every single dish we ordered was superb. Especially the seafood soup, I have never seen so much seafood packed into a bowl. Really awesome. The mole sauce, superb!

Don 't Judge a Restaurant By Its Cover!! We almost didn 't make it inside but I remember tha saying never judge a book by its cover Glad I did...and let me tell you!!! Wow wow wow!!!!!!! Authentic-hole-in-the wall we order the Carne asada ,Chile relleno ,Pollo asado and a pupusa and sope plate everything was amazing and delicious super fresh made from scratch. we also got some chips and salsa with Guac!!...... Delicious want some EXXTRA EXXTRA HOT salsa!! no problem they got it too!! Did I mention Homemade Tortillas ??? YES freshly made to order Corn and Flour!!!tortillas....glad Me and my family found this place and now part of my top 3 Mexican Restaurants!! If you are on the 5 and hungry this is your spot!!!!

This is a great restaurant! I ordered the steak and shrimp salad and an horchata. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the shrimp was tender. Both has nice grill marks and just enough char. The horchata was not too sweet and had plenty of cinnamon flavor. The salad greens were fresh and perky with tomato, carrot, peppers, and avocados. Squeeze a lime over it for extra flavor that’s all you need.10/10 would come back

Super friendly owner serves up generous portions of perfectly judged, beautifully presented dishes with a huge flavor profile. We've ordered there several times and every dish was an absolute winner. Don't miss the superb chili verde for dinner or the crisp, mouth-watering breakfast chilaquiles. Eat here!
