So, a few months ago (talking over a year tbh) we ordered through Uber Eats recieved a partial order....after not being able to phone through trying Uber Eats the following day we contacted them was told next time we 're there we can get it free of charge.. so the following day we went was told no that can 't be done....wasn 't too fussed as it was only a drink fries. (Still it was paid for we never recieve it, never received a refund never got it the following day). Fast forward to earlier this month we took our dog for a walk asked if they like Starbucks, Costa etc did pupcups (cup of whipped cream) they said they didn 't (fair enough no worries that 's fine, we 'll just order food instead so we ordered our food waited for it to be made). I checked the receipt to see why it was more than normal there was a £2.19 charge for some latte on there....turns out this was the pupcup that we declined in the end as was told they didn 't do it....1/2 a kids happy meal cup of cream for £2.19 rip off, if you don 't do them just don 't do them....don 't charge £2.19 for a random drink then give us half a kids cup. When I mentioned about it they simply said you ordered it, you paid for it, can 't refund it. Whatever. Fast forward again to lastnight. Ordered through Uber Eats again as the 2 chinese restaurants we normally order from were closed. Wife had been in work from 7:30am 10pm didn 't get home until 11pm. So I ordered told it would be with us by 11:40pm didn 't turn up until 11:50pm...half the order was missing, the other half was ice cold wrong. Tried phoning again couldn 't get through as the line was off for the night, emailed in contacted uber whom won 't do anything tried 6 times keep saying nothing they can do just review they 'll do better for next time. This morning I phoned up, the woman was pleasant enough I understand it wasn 't her, but if your staff are incompetent unable to follow simple orders then fire them, they 're clearly not cut out to be working there....£40 order received £25s worth of the order. No 2x fries, no halloumi fries, ordered 2 medium drinks 1 full fat 1 diet, received a large medium both full fat 1 with around 4 pieces of ice other had none in so was warm, both flat. Cheese burgers had no sauce on (onions, pickles etc) were ice cold, triple cheese burgers were ice cold, chicken nuggets were rock hard half ice cold other half room temp missing 6 nuggets (only got 14 paid for a 20 share box). As my wife hadn 't eaten since the night prior (was extremely busy at work couldn 't get a break, had 2 glasses of water, 1 monster engery with ice all day pretty standard dat for her too normally she has more energy drinks) she had the triple cheese burger. She 's been in the bathroom throwing up since 5am has had to phone in sick to work so she 's now lost atleast 1 days wage...won 't do anything told to just keep trying with Uber, now tried 6 times they 're refusing outright to refund. So we 're £40 down, didn 't get what we ordered my wife is sick.
It’s kind of amazing actually, a bit impressive even how they can get everything wrong so much. This time I ordered a BBQ stack meal with banana milkshake, and a caramel latte. I got absolutely none of the items I ordered. They usually get orders wrong about 80% of the time. We’ve just got used to playing food roulette here but this last experience was a corker. It was like Olympic level incompetence. I pulled to the speaker, gave my online order code “thank you, drive to the next window” Drove to the next window. There was no one there. Waited a few minutes then drove on to the food window. Her offered me a tray full of Ice Cream and drinks. “Those aren’t mine”, I said. “What did you order?”, he asked. I told him a BBQ stack meal w/milkshake, and a caramel latte and gave the order number. He disappeared for a bit then came back and asked me to park at the fourth window. I did and started watching stuff on YouTube. When I looked up nearly 25 minutes had passed and still no food fairies had arrived. I waited for someone to go by the window, leaned out of my car and tapped on it. “Any chance of getting my order, it’s been 25 minutes?”. The young lady asked for my order number which again I provided and disappeared. The first lad I had seen then came to the window and a look of realisation dawned on his face. He disappeared for another five minutes. When he returned he gave me some bags and said “I’ve thrown some extra in there for you”. There were no drinks though, and by the time I had turned back he had gone. I just drove around again and bought the drinks again, but when I collected I think I got the actual drinks from the first order as the whip had completely melted on the latte. So I paid twice for drinks that had been stood for a half hour. When I got home I found in the bags: A McCrispy, a Big Mac, A Mayo Chicken, Some Cheese bites, a portion of Mc Nuggets and a few portions of fries, absolutely none of which was on my order. It also looked as though it had been kicked around the kitchen floor and it was all very cold and old. Having known McD workers, I know how it works and what they have to throw out after a certain time has passed. I got throwaway food. The one burger I had ordered was not there. At all. So kind of impressive in its ineptitude. In future I’m going to drive to the one further away.
Food came out cold and service is slow. Considering its fast food, yet slow service. Never again. A third of my order was missing and staff was rude. To many kids work here. Employ some adults and then you may have sufficient service
Really getting fed up with missing items or wrong items. Honestly this place needs to get a grip, it’s not hard. It feels like somethings wrong on every order now.
