Dixy Chicken - Bury

This is by far the worst takeaway I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few pissed up takeaways! The food tastes of dirty oil and if they manage to get your order right it’s always really late and poor quality. Either make yourself a sandwich when you get in or order elsewhere because this is awful

Ordered food online stated would be an hour after one and half hours asked for update was told order delayed further so requested my money back which restaurant agreed to….was not refunded so got in touch with just eat ……8 hours later just eat replied to me that restaurant would not be giving me my money back and hope I enjoyed my meal! Never received it Stay away

Very disappointed with the service .got wrong ordered and they refused to admit and also driver was 30 mints late. food was dry. please go somewhere else

I would definitely recommend not visiting this restaurant or purchasing anything from them if you value your health full stop after waiting over an hour and a half to my food and calling over 3 times to check on the status of my food preparation and delivery I was fobbed off numerous times before they arrived at the house full stop On opening the food, it was clear that it had been made some time ago as there are areas in the arctic that are was. It was absolutely terrible there was no texture to anything whatsoever and I may as well have been eating a soggy kitchen sponge. Telephoning the restaurant the man that I have previously spoken to regarding the order was rather standoffish, and had a blatant disregard or any of customer concern regarding the order stating that the outside temperature would have got to the food and made it cold however. It's very difficult to believe when the restaurant is less than a 10-minute drive from my house and had the disc in the case. He may have had to have gone via China to get me my order. Also the food when is arrived was in a thermally insulated polystyrene packaging in a sealed carrier bag ergo would not have lost that much heat. I'm finishing what I could have the food. I then got an acid reflux due to the amount of oil which there was that much that have there been any more that would have been invaded by the States after vomiting ferociously in the manner of what can only be described as the piece suit scene from The Exorcist I decided to phone the restaurant again were I was blatantly told that it was not their issue that they've never had any complaints whatsoever and they have glowing report from all and sundry regarding their food. So, please listen to this advice. Do not eat at this restaurant and I highly recommend that you pass on this message. Thank you.

Expected more from a national high street takeaway, but having had this as an evening meal, suffered bad stomach upset throughout the night. Look for other options.
