Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent Lionel Richie tribute act, he had a fantastic voice realy enjoyed the meal fab fun all round very friendly staff
I recently visited Al Bosco Italian restaurant in Summerseat and had a mixed experience that compelled me to share my thoughts. The overall quality of the food was commendable, receiving positive feedback from everyone in our group. However, as someone with coeliac disease, my experience was marred by a significant issue of cross-contamination. Despite communicating my dietary restrictions to the staff, I unfortunately encountered gluten in my meal, resulting in swelling and feeling unwell. When I raised my concern with the staff, they assured me that they had taken all necessary precautions to avoid cross-contamination, emphasizing that such an incident couldn 't have happened. While I appreciate their attempt to address the issue, the undeniable impact on my health contradicts their assurance. It 's crucial for restaurants to not only claim adherence to dietary restrictions but also ensure that the implementation aligns with the needs of patrons. This experience highlights the importance of continuous diligence in catering to individuals with specific dietary requirements. Overall, Al Bosco has potential, particularly for those without dietary restrictions. However, for individuals with conditions like coeliac disease, I recommend exercising caution and perhaps choosing a different place to eat.
I cannot find any faults with the service and atmosphere of the restaurant, but unfortunately, the food was not up to par tonight. It was bland, the pasta was hard, and the chicken pieces seemed processed. There was not enough sauce, so the dish ended up dry. It is a shame, as I have had better meals at this restaurant before.
Been to Al Bosco a few times in the last 2-3 years and always had excellent service and food. Staff have been friendly, chatty, professional and the food delicious. Good value for excellence.
I used to go regularly on my own and with my family , sometimes it was good and other times not so good. One day I went and the owner was very rude to me. He said that I walked right past him without speaking when i went in , so he wouldn't serve me or provide a take away service. The truth is that I am partially deaf and didn't hear anything. This arrogant non empethetical attitude has lost him valuable custom.
