The homemade dumplings and noodles are a highlight, and the service and ambience have a cozy feel. It's one of our favorite spots in Burwood. The small menu allows for each item to be executed well, but at $16 per dish, it may be considered pricey. It's recommended to order three dishes for two people.
Consistently delicious, soft and chewy handmade noodles. While there is a handmade noodle restaurant up the road that seems more popular with Chinese locals, the fast service and simple humble atmosphere make this place my preferred noodle spot.
Best family restaurant in Sydney with authentic home hand dumplings, noodles and pastries made with heart. Our family was one of the first customers of this shop since its establishment in 2003. It was the first northern chinese restaurant in Burwood. Throughout the past 14 years, it remains our family's favourite restaurant. Finally, just a few words of reminder we learned from the owner of Beijing Station that in the past there were a number of Chinese customers who ran away without paying money and behaved horribly (shouting loud, bringing food from other restaurants, seriously lacking social etiquette). They told the owner they would retaliate by writing negative comments online to sabotage the business of Beijing Station. It is scary to see the negative reviews on Google, Zomato and other websites as acts of retaliation.
Great food! Quite an authentic Northern cuisine. The place to be for a quick Beijing flavour fix! Go for the handmade noodles these are some of the best in town.
The hand-made noodles were perfect, with a consistent texture that showcased the expertise of the chef. The beef stock was also delicious, with a balanced flavor enhanced by tiny pieces of ginger and finely chopped shallots. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of the food and would recommend this restaurant to others.
