Contribuiți la feedbackAfter quite some time, we decided to order from this restaurant tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in quality. The lentil samosas were warm and delicious, and the vegan dishes including red lentils, tomato salad, green beans, and carrots were all seasoned perfectly. In the past, I found the food to be a bit too spicy, but tonight it was just right. They offer the typical vegan options you would expect at an Ethiopian restaurant, although I wish they would go fully vegan. Unfortunately, it seems that Burtonsville may not have enough vegetarians and vegans to support a completely plant-based establishment. But overall, a great dining experience.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars if they didn't serve meat products. However, the staff is fantastic! The restaurant is family owned and operated. The mango lemonade is absolutely delicious! The vegetarian #2 platter was incredibly filling and tasty. My favorite dishes were the green beans and collard greens. It seemed like everyone in the restaurant ordered the veggie platter. I will definitely be returning every week!
I found the restaurant on this app. I ordered the veggie #2 mango juice. There are several vegan choices on the menu. Awesome service and love the atmosphere.
I went to this restaurant with my non-vegan mother tonight, and we shared the veggie combo platter #1. It included spicy red lentils, split peas, collard greens, cabbage potato, green beans, carrots, and tomato salad. The waitress understood what vegan meant, which was reassuring. The platter came with a basket of injera rolls and everything was delicious. I have been trying to introduce my mother to vegan food, and she really enjoyed this meal. Each dish had its own unique flavor which I appreciated. The portion size was perfect for the two of us, but if you're with a friend and have a bigger appetite, I recommend trying combo platter #2 which includes lentil salad and chickpea salad. Our food was prepared quickly, and the waitress mentioned that vegan food is the simplest and best to make. The citrusy/spice tea served with the meal was also a nice touch. The restaurant is labeled as an Ethiopian restaurant on the outside, but the name is on the door. I would definitely return here in the future!
We ordered tonight after a pretty time from here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the uptick in quality. the linsenseamosa was warm and tasty, and the vegan dishes (red lenses, tomatensalat and green beans and carrots) were all prepared with the right mix of flavor and flavor. I remember eating in pastness was a little unbalanced — too spicy to mask the congenital taste — but not tonight. very excellent. they have the usual vegan options they find in any Ethiopian restaurant, but I wish they would take a chance and go full vegan. Unfortunately I don't know that burtonsville has enough vegetariervegans to support a fully vegan device. at least not yet. updated by previous review on 2022-02-25
