Kirsten's Danish Bakery - Burr Ridge

Phenomenal service and any cake we have ever ordered was spectacular. Kirsten is so kind and so an artist! Donutkuchen was the youngest and a hit with children and adults alike!

Despite a limited menu, everything at Kirsten's is great! As a vegetarian, while I couldn't get any of their staple sandwiches, they made me a loaded veggie sandwich, which I appreciated the ability to try and help me (though I was limited to cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce). The pastries here are incredible and definitely the star. And if you're on the fence of indulging in one, with every sandwich, rather than provide a pickle, they include a little sweet treat, which was the perfect way to end the meal. Would recommend checking Kirsten's out, but go in full aware that if you're vegetarian, the options are limiting.

If you're on a diet, don't hesitate to visit this restaurant anyway—it's worth a day of indulgence! They offer a variety of delicious dishes and the friendly staff are more than happy to help you decide. They also feature special items throughout the week, like quiche and chicken pot pie. Yum!
