Western Sizzlin Wood Grill - Burnsville

Attended the grand opening, and have eaten at this restaurant most times while in Burnsville over the last 34 years. Owner is a world-class individual; wish her the absolute best in retirement. Will definitely miss this restaurant.

Way over priced for the tough cold over cooked buffet, also no selection. The one time I ordered a plated meal instead of buffet the food was TERRIBLE, not to mention I stepped outside to take a phone call and the server sat my HOT food down on a table with nobody there, my food got cold and somebody could have messed with my food and me never know ! They refused to comp my meal or replace the cold plate. I have been a server before and even i know with little experience you keep a customer's order under the warmer if they arent sitting. Will never go back and glad they are closing the nasty place down

I love eating here, we live in Jonesborough TN but it's well worth the drive to Burnsville NC just to eat here.

Waiting staff is good, food good, but just left there and what I’m guessing what is the manager is just rude, come told us we had to move, while going over our insurance policy on our house fire, (we was in a quieter room we had permission to be in from staff earlier) I wouldn’t have minded moving at all, we were basically done we had been there a few hours, but she acted like we needed to explain why we was there, and like we was in there way, and never said she had guests coming who needed the area either.

The waitress was greatly but that's all I can say. I was sick 15 minutes after I left. The steak had way to much fat on it. The potato was barely warm and they didn't cook my daughter's steak correctly..
