Taqueria La Hacienda - Burnsville

The Burnsville location of Taqueria la Hacienda is the best spot for authentic Mexican food and excellent service. I ordered two quesadillas—one with cheese and one with al pastor (pork prepared in a traditional style). Each order came with rice and refried beans, and everything was amazing. I also ordered shrimp cocktail, or cóctel de camarón, which my husband and I plan to enjoy tonight. One of the staff members even helped carry my takeout to my car since I was using a cane that day. Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish or if you're a shy beginner like I am; I primarily spoke in my limited Spanish and had no issues being understood! It was a very exciting experience for me. I can't wait to return for the delicious food and the chance to practice my Spanish.

I had an amazing experience with the authentic al pastor trompo tacos! The tortillas were perfectly made—not greasy or cold at all. The salsas were fantastic! They weren’t overly spicy and didn’t overpower with garlic or onion flavor. The natural flavored drinks were just right—neither too sweet nor bland. I particularly enjoyed the horchata, which is made with rice and cinnamon, and the Jamaica, which is hibiscus water. I've visited other locations, but the one in Burnsville is by far the best! A big thank you to the cooks!

The chicken torta was quite delicious! The service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly.

Alambre must mean onios and peppers on tortillas. Never had Alambres before but if thats what it is, then certainly not doing that again. Made it seem like there was no meat, which was their signature el pastor. Greasy. Maybe authentic isn't for me. Buthey, its definitely not in the Taco Bell/Chipotle line of Mexican food, if those are Mexican food. Staff was kind, service wasquick and the food was hot.

Got there about 6 PM. No line. Easy ordering. Like the big TV behind the counter showing pictures of everything and their names. Price was right. Food was good.
