If there was an option for 0 stars I’d do it. Came a couple of nights ago with our dogs and sat out the front. Had a lovely evening. Multiple staff came and patted our dogs, one of which is just a puppy and quite timid meeting new people. Went again today, they were quite busy doing limited menu for Father’s Day. Our puppy let out a couple of barks when a waitress came out with our garlic bread. Next minute the manager is coming out and making a scene in front of other patrons about our “scary dog” telling us to keep her on a short leash because it “scared the workers”. Same worker who was “scared” had a few nights previously patted dog and understood her wariness. Whole ordeal made us very uncomfortable. We asked to take our food away instead, it got left on the bench to go cold before we received it. Refund would have been nice as we were the ones made to feel unwelcome. Do not go here expecting a dog friendly venue, they only like dogs on a quiet night when they feel like it. Takeaway beers from the bottle-o and cook yourself a nice meal at home. Save the drama. (Edit: having owned/managed hospitality venues for 10 years myself, I would be appalled if an issue was handled this way in my business. A full refund is the bare minimum in this situation).

Didn't stay at the place but went there for dinner most nights. Meals were well priced and good size. Very filling. Staff were accommodating and very friendly great service.

Great food. Steak night- amazing!!! Live music on point. Make sure you book in at the bar to get bus home after your cheap drinks

We had a fantastic lunch here on Easter Monday. The staff were very friendly and down-to-earth. The meals were huge, great value for money, and extremely tasty! They came out quickly and can not be faulted. Lots of GF options and a kids area. Definitely recommend.

I think we should become official pub reviewers because the meals at this pub were incredible! Best schnitzel we have ever had (and we’ve had a few … , great prices and friendly staff. We were tourists in a small country town and they made us feel like locals. Highly rate!!!
