Tim Hortons - Burnaby

It's amusing that they invested so much in renovating this location but didn't bother to train their staff or keep their skilled employees. My order is consistently wrong, and the staff speak rudely to both customers and each other. If possible, I recommend going to the one at Lougheed Mall instead.

The service at this restaurant is extremely poor. We waited in line for about 10 minutes, with only two customers ahead of us. After that, they prepared our food but just left it on the kitchen counter. Sometimes they served drinks before food, and one of our items was cold every time. Even though there are six employees working, they struggle to manage just ten customers. Honestly, even the drive-thru at Tim Hortons is better than this.

Usually, they're quite reliable, but today they completely botched one of my drinks and overlooked finishing my order. A male staff member prepared my food, but my drinks never came, and it seemed like no one was attending to the drink orders for quite some time. When I finally inquired about my drinks, my chocolate creamy chill turned out to be an undrinkable slush of sugary water. It was really disappointing.

Even when the restaurant isn't busy, I still have to wait a long time. I always order the same thing, but every time I get a different taste, and it's never good!

This establishment seems to function as an unofficial homeless shelter. There's a homeless woman who regularly sits in the corner of the coffee shop, often dozing off. This isn't an isolated incident. Rather than addressing the situation in a constructive manner, the management chose to ban an individual who voiced concerns about it. This person's intention was simply to highlight a legitimate issue impacting the customer experience, as well as a significant social problem that deserves attention.
