I love that the gomae comes as a roll. The spicy agadashi Tofu could be spicier, but the Tofu itself was bouncy and fun to eat like mochi if you're a texture person. The flavours for the garlic and jalapeño on the oushi were very intense. Black cod was delicate and tasty and tempura fantastic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sushi Modo is definitely a gem. I’ve been coming here for years and food has always been consistently good. Their oshi sushi are my favorite and I’ve been ordering them via Ubereats almost every week. When I’m dining in, I always get their nabeyaki udon. It’s not often that I get a traditional flame heated pot (most nabeyaki udons at other Japanese restaurants don’t have this). The atmosphere is nice and servers are very friendly. Place is very clean too and kid-friendly. I love this place! This is one of my favourite spots for dining and take out in the neighborhood. Family and kid friendly spot. Their oshi aburi sushi is some of the best in Vancouver. I also really love the salmon karage salad and mantaiko cream udon.
