Starbucks - Burnaby

One of the worst locations, one person works while the other 2 stand around twiddling their thumbs instead of realizing there's to go orders waiting. I waited 15 minutes on a to go order for regular coffee to be poured with no other orders in queue. The barista instead spent 10 minutes playing with a Uber eats bag and making jokes. This is a usual occurrence too aside from the one at the bar who's actually doing their job. Nobody else cares and work's at a snail's pace. Don't go here

I was waiting in line, I notice Associate are rude and just talking each other about customer I never see like thatI don’t know why

Apparently they don’t take 100s or 50s. They can’t tell the difference between Monopoly money and real money. Teach your employees to do their job, your barista didn’t even look at the money. Ridiculous

I was in on Monday morning and experienced one of the best customer service experiences of my life! I believe the baristas name was sheila and she was a caring and kind worker. This Starbucks is my Starbucks of choice as the coffee is always a touch better then other Starbucks for some reason. In my opinion I think its because they make their coffee with love! I was in the store with my family of 5 and Sheila not only made my drinks perfectly but as she was making my drinks she treated my 5 year old daughter with patients and care. My daughter had been crying and was visibly upset when we first entered the Starbucks but left with a smile and a cake pop! If you don't go to this location for the coffee, go for Sheila!!!

If I could leave no stars for this Starbucks location then I would. I’m not usually one to write a negative input unless an experience has great impact on me. My friend who ordered 2 drinks recently, one for me and of course one for herself had added additions to her drink. Specifically cold foam, the barista not only forgot to add it but when she mentioned it, he added some transparent foam on top and said “here you go” and practically gave her back what he initially made. She’s not confrontational and accepted whatever was handed to her. She orders the same drink at every Starbucks and they make it perfectly. This location seems to mess up every time for some reason. Needless to say we will not be returning to this Starbucks again as it seems the barista doesn’t care how the drinks are made. We understand it’s busy and there’s one person making the drinks and we are FINE with waiting for as long as we get what we ordered especially when we pay extra for the additions. We’re not asking for freebies here!
