Griller House Cafe - Burnaby

I had dinner last week from this place. I ordered chicken biryani and butter chicken for take out. The food was ready in 15 mins. Nothing special about the dishes, average rating.

Griller House Cafe is a new Indo-Chinese restaurant in the Edmonds area. They offer free delivery with a $25 order. They are open 1100-2100, 7 days/week. They offer a variety of veggie dishes. They do not serve beef or pork.Our to-go order was Chili Chicken (spicy) and Chicken Tikka (spicy) with naan. We also ordered a couple of samosas for our appies. Samosas were deliciously spiced with cilantro, chunks of potato and lots of peas. The main dishes were also fabulous with lots of crunchy veg and mouth-watering tender meat. Chili Chicken was more Chinese style but still went splendidly with naan. The spice was a slow burn (delightful surprise.) Chicken Tikka was clearly marinated in loads of garlic. It was so tender and flavourful that I want to go order one now. Naan was fluffy but toothsome. Perfect! Price was reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. (Next time I go, I'll have a hard time not ordering the Chicken Tikka.) My wishlist for the next few orders: veg Manchurian, dal Makhni, eggplant, fish pakora, chicken vindaloo, lamb curry, Szechuan chicken, goat curry and veg fried rice.This cafe is in a sort-of strip mall so there is a little parking lot. There's plenty of street parking, though. It is easily accessible by transit. The seating is small and very casual. Staff are lovely. I'm assuming this is a family-run business, which I like to support.

The place is worth for what the price is givenI am gonna call this a PERFECT place to buy and bring home type of deal.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! I was just passing through from Richmond and decided to stop and grab a bite.
