Golden Pita - Burnaby

I just had the Chicken Shawarma pita wrap for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning and bringing friends with me.

The food is exceptional and affordably priced, and the staff is friendly and inviting. I think it's a family-owned and operated restaurant, which is a refreshing change these days.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, where I ordered a beef donair and a chicken shawarma platter, along with several appetizers. Everything was incredibly tasty, especially the grilled beef donair. The hot sauce was just right; they should think about bottling it for sale! The owners were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

My wife and daughter visited this hidden gem for an early dinner, and we were thoroughly delighted with our experience. The food was amazing, the value was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely, accompanied by calming music. We will certainly be back! Highly recommended! Food rating: 5/5.

I've been coming here since 2007, and the chicken rocket is absolutely amazing—worth every penny! Unfortunately, I dug in before I thought to snap a photo. The sampler appetizer is great too, packed with a variety of wonderful flavors. This place is a fantastic hidden gem!
