Contribuiți la feedbackI love Choices. I can't go too often because of the strange situation in which it is. When we go, we usually plan food at Paradise Noodle House for dinner at Choices. It has a large and varied selection at most affordable prices. It is also where I discovered that Tofutti-Creme cheese makes a French onion taste, which is now my not guilty pleasure with chips. There are only certain things I can get anywhere else or at least somewhere else on site.
I've frequently visited other health food stores, but only been to this one a few times. It's quite similar to the others, as Choices is part of a chain. It reminds me a lot of Wild Oats (formerly Capers), Planet Organic, and others that have been in Vancouver for a longer time. I appreciate that it's a Canadian company, but unfortunately, their prices are just as high as the others mentioned. However, I've noticed that in recent years, their prices seem to have become more competitive. I can't really think of anything that sets Choices apart from other health food supermarkets. They do carry some unique items that I haven’t seen elsewhere, but for the most part, the selection is similar. One advantage is their loyalty program, which allows you to earn points on your purchases, similar to what Superstore offers. This location is conveniently situated right next to Paradise Vegetarian Noodle House.
This store offers a wide variety of vegan cheeses, ice creams, and frozen foods. While it's not the cheapest option, it’s a fantastic spot to find those hard-to-get vegan items and snacks. If you're dining at Paradise Vegetarian Noodle House for lunch or dinner, be sure to stop by afterward since it's right next door!
I really enjoy Choices. I can't visit too often because of the unusual location, but whenever we do go, we usually plan to have dinner at Paradise Noodle House first and then head over to Choices. The menu offers a wide variety of items at mostly affordable prices. It's also where I first discovered that Tofutti cream cheese can make a French dip taste amazing, which has now become one of my guilty pleasures with chips. There are definitely unique items here that I can’t find anywhere else, at least not locally.
