Browns Socialhouse - Burnaby

Nice place to chill. Great service. Food is above average pub food. Yum Hollywood burger and yam fries. Chicken tacos good. Cool music.

A trendy place in the heart of burnaby area._we went here for lunch and we had a great time.

Brown's is a good place to go occasionally. The music can be a little over-powering considering how they emphasize "socializing." Their burger portions are quite adequate and a good selection of draught beers is available. The servers are very friendly and attentive, and we were seated immediately.Free parking is available across Rosser in the Save On Foods parking garage - although officially it's not for Brown's customers. Our visit was on a Sunday evening; restaurant was crowded but not overly so.

In front of the big whole foods market this restaurant offers a good choice of food - i loved the bowls - and beers in a nice atmosphere with an area dedicated to the restaurant and another more pub-style with screens to watch games with friends. Three choices of pizza but it's definitely not for this that you choose this place. Beers are from local breweries and rotate in the menu. Try the Dragon bowl, very good mix of vegetables, coconut rice and chicken teryaki or the cruston cod bowl, in my opinion the best in the menu. The hostess always smiling is very helpful.

Nice to find this Browns on our trip. Tucked in near skytrain. Parking is underground. Really good food as always.
