Zesty Pita & Burgers (4033 New St)

The chicken shawarma, falafel and kofta wraps are excellent. A nice option also available is the chicken poutine. They get a lot of regulars coming in since the staff seem to know a lot of the customers- definitely a good sign.

Tried this restaurant for the first time the other day, delicious chicken shawerma and fries, generous portions and great prices, everything is fresh to order. When it came time to pay I realized that I had forgotten my wallet, the restaurant generously gave me the lunch anyways and trusted that I will call them with a payment. I will come back for sure. There's a small sitting area, sort of like cafeteria style, good place for takeout, can't wait to try other items on the menu!

My son and I had the chicken wrap, kofta wrap and chicken poutine. We have also been to the other location on Upper Middle Road and I had the chicken pineapple wrap at that time. Perfect balance of fresh ingredients, tasty meats and sauce cooked and put together perfectly that makes Zesty's stand out. Good portion too. The service is friendly and the place is clean and bright. Highly recommend this place. Quick service too and I like the open cooking area concept.

This little take away tucked into a little plaza was a big hit. I had the souvlaki dinner and lentil soup. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. I had take-out but they have seating. It looks like a fast food joint but the food was far better than the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Give it a try.

Ahmed's food is the best in town....always hot and fresh. Friendly behind the counter and are always good to the local school kids.
