Thistle Fish Chips - Burlington

The best fish and chips I have had yet, to date!I drove from Mississauga and I would 100% do it again.I'm craving it since I had it from 2 weeks ago; batter was perfect, fish was perfectly cooked. I didn't even need a fork, it flaked apart with my fingers! Portion was great, too. My service was also very friendly : Already recommended

This shop was introduced to me by my mother 30-40 years ago?We will drive 30 minutes to get there as there is No comparison.Halibut is thick cut, homemade French fries, excellent battered scallops.If I had to choose my last meal, it would be here.Parking: Within a plaza.

We were in Burlington, ON this day (08/17/2023) at 6:00 P.M. we had our dog with us, but we forgot her papers for proof of a Service Dog. So we ordered from the car, we ordered one order of Halibut Chips, one small gravy and 2 pops (with an extra plate/box). Was ready in about 6-7 minutes for pickup at the desk inside. Very polite employees, and accommodating. Gave us extra plate, utensils and condiments. The food was excellent (fries golden brown, Halibut cooked to perfect with a light non greasy batter. The gravy was good also with the 2 ice cold sodas, we were definitely satisfied, and if ever back into this area-Would not hesitate to eat here again.Kudos-All the reviews were up to their previous customers complimenting this Fish Chip Restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating area inside for a Family setting.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of parking at entrance way.

The fish was good but we were disappointed when they presented mediocre tartar sauce in individual plastic packets. Coleslaw had too much mayo. Friendly servers; the restaurant had a 80’s neighbourhood joint vibe.
