Contribuiți la feedbackIt is difficult to find good Japanese food in burlington or for this occasion the entire gta. Usually we order from sushi masayuki or doma sushi in burlington, but on the 13th februar 2021 they were both very busy and it would be a long...wait based on good reviews on google (absolute) I ordered three special rolls that I use as benchmark when ordering special rolls plus a special house. let me start with the good one; the staff was very friendly and the order was on time. the price was at the lower end for special rolling and I guess they get what they pay. now the bad; all four rolls lacked taste. the soße, which was used to cover the rolls, was all the same and sweet, but nothing else (more of a Korean object than Japanese.) the dynamite roll was just a Bland period. the black dragon roll was also very bland (unagi was good) and all that they could taste was the unagi. we tried the spider roll and it tasted so that we just threw out a few pieces after the try (which we squeeze out.) it was fishy and everyone who knows sushi also knows that they did not use old fish. it was the thunfish, not sure why, but it tasted like thunfish from a dose, had a metallic taste and was not edible. I assume that they are the meat from the fish (it was dark gray) and not skillful, but not safe. the main ingredient in a spider roll is soft bowl crab and it wasn't there at all. no krach, no crab! for the fourth roll, the house special roll I ordered the fantastic roll, which tasted better than the spider roll, but the thun fish was back and we found no crab. Beyond that, none of the sushi rolls had any tobiko (fisheier) that give this little crack and look like red spots. at no point said the restaurant that they lacked objects to make the rolls. I cannot believe that there are people who rave over this restaurant; either they do not know how genuine Japanese/Korean sushi tastes or they like it because it is cheaper. we have ordered us for COVID closures, but they couldn't pay me to try this place again.
Our first time in this restaurant was about two months before we were asked to isolate. the dinner was perfect! the plate presentation was great and eating was right. Since then we returned to the second and third times. service and eat only...will be better! everything tastes fresh and well cooked. the owners are very nice and the restaurant is immaculate. that's the place to eat. if they have a chance, they can stop and take dinner as they are open during this time to take.
I ate here solo and wanted a Sashimi lunch. I have a suppe that tasted old and extremely salty. the Benb box had salat covered with a tomate with heavy coarse dressing and the tomaten seemed old and spoiled. that was laughing at the teller. so big that I had to cut him with my teeth to bring him into my mouth. obviously no knife with just clinking. the other species of fish were cut accordingly, but nothing impressed me and it did not seem fresh to me. would not go back to this restaurant. the service was fast and the restaurant was empty. wonders why!
I had never been and stopped on a trip for a lunch and that was a wise choice! what a wonderful place! small, secret, comforting. the owners are incredibly friendly and welcome just a fantastic experience! I felt a little disturbed and let myself be lifted and satisfied! I had the nitriri sushi (appetitor) probably the best sushi I've ever eaten, the fish was very fresh and the bark noodle dish was just as good! the bark was tender and grilled/groomed! I will be happy to be friends again!
Super excellent customer service !Sushi rolls were super tasty, big portions and reasonable prices. Cozy and nice atmosphere. Spicy Tuna Roll and Dinamite Roll were superb ... I will definitely come back.!
