Never expected to get a skimp plate for spending $30 on oxtails n a beef patty ???I been to every spot in the area and this one got me the most disappointing cuz it's good but portions are crazyThis is a large oxtail plate

I ordered from this place on Sunday. One thing I can say is the customer service is very nice, don't let that fool you. The food is horrible, I ordered Curry chicken it was not seasoned at all no curry taste, it was basically boiled chicken, the jasmine rice was dry, and the cabbage was a vegetable medley raw.I also ordered brown stew chicken, yams, and mac and cheese. The stew chicken stew chicken was dry no flavor, yams were good, and mac and cheese was a small corner piece nasty. Only good thing was chicken fingers and fries. I would never eat there again. I will not waste your money.UPDATED REVIEWI WENT THERE TODAY FEB HAD THE RASTA PASTA IT WAS REALLY GOOD. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT THEY GAVE MY SON CORNBREAD ON THE HOUSE. THEY REVAMP THE WHOLE PLACE AND LOOKS NICE INSIDE

Staff is very tentative and friendly but the food is nothing special.

The nicest staff. Foid is delicious. For my mother, service was slow. For me, it was a welcome break nit to rush. Tried Sorrel beer and liked it! We had shrimp fritters, coconut shrimp, breadfruit with mini callaloo, curried goat and chicken supreme!!! Soooo good.

All the food was very mid. The one older lady service was decent, but the other semi younger lady service was like we were bothering her. We got take out, sat at the bar and waited about an hour. I ordered boneless jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and brown stew chicken gravy for the rice. My order came out initially with white rice and no gravy. Let the waitress know, and she bought out the correct platter about 10 minutes later. Got home, and there was very little meat. My partner ordered oxtail, Mac and yams. He didn 't like his food. My order was ok but indeed not worth the 70+ we paid for 2 platters and a side of jerk. I see up and down the reviews that the owners comment, You get what you pay for, which is typically correct. But in this case, we didn 't get what we paid for. They load up on rice and skimp on the entrée. Even if the food was excellent quality, which it wasn 't by a long shot, it would not have been worth the $30+pp bill. We won 't return, but I say see for yourself.
